Below are the meeting minutes from the November 11, 2006 meeting:

1.      Call to order (Fritz WD8E).  12:17

2.      Welcome (and introductions if a guest or new member attends). 

a.       Attendees:  Fritz WD8E, Mark K8MTR, Kevin KD8DNO, John W8NM, Tom KC8CSQ, Rocky KI8GE, Billie N8LEL, Steve N8WL, John W8UL, Ralph WD8BBE, Jeff KC8OQI

b.      New member: John N8DFQ

4.      President’s report (Fritz WD8E)

a.       World Radio drawing - We have eight (8) tickets.  One will be drawn each month.  You must be present at the meeting to win.

5.      Treasurer’s report as posted on the web (John W8NM)

a.       John indicated the club now has a Checking account and ATM card at Chase.  Fritz and John are listed as custodians.

6.      Committee reports

a.       Web site update (Mark K8MTR) - Mark indicated he would post any links or suggestions that anyone would like to have added to the site.

7.      Unfinished business

a.       Weekend Net (Jack K8CTO) - Update:  Freq: 7.110.  Problems with other traffic given time change.  He is still pursuing the specifics of the new net.

8.      New business

a.       Future Special Event Station? (Bob NR8U) - Bob NR8U found evidence of a Pine Street resident that was part of the initial ARRL relay.  He is going to do more research to determine the specifics and present at a future meeting.  We may want to do another special event station for this.

b.   Winlink (John W8UL)

                                                               i.            John W8UL gave an overview and presentation on Winlink as it relates to EmComm.

                                                            iii.            John’s Winlink node is on 145.010 FM simplex.

9.      Announcements

a.       Drawing - Mark K8MTU was the first winner of the World Radio drawing.
