a. Thanks to all.

1. Fritz WD8E gave his thanks to the group for their support and fellowship during his tenure as president of the club.

2. Announcements:

§ Club Books – see John W8NM if interested in obtaining any of the books from the club library

§ Annual club dues coming up in July

§ Tony K8FAR – our sympathies go out to Tony on the passing of his beloved wife.

5. Treasurer's report as posted on the web (John W8NM).

a. John W8NM reported:

§ As of 6/9/07 the club account balance = $104.00

§ John W8NM and Fritz WD8E asked for 2 volunteers that are not currently holding officer positions to assist John with an audit of the finances of the club.

7. Unfinished business

a. Future Carl Howard special event and traffic handling station (Bob NR8U).

§ Bob NR8U reported:

§ Special event is on track.

§ For those who are planning to offer their vintage radios for display at “The Works”, delivery can begin on 6/15/2007.

b. Johnny Clem special event station (Bob NR8U).

§ Bob NR8U reported that the special event is on track.

c. FD (John W8NM).

§ John W8NM reported:

§ Location: Horns Hill Park Shelter House

§ Tom KC8UQR purchasing meat, drinks, etc

§ Bring a covered dish

§ We will be operating class 3A

§ NARA Meeting at 19:00 will include a Field Day workshop

§ Setup on 6/23/07 from 10:00 – 14:00; begin operating at 14:00 thru 6/24/07 14:00

8. New business

a. ARES Update (Steve N8WL).

§ Steve N8WL reported a disaster drill will be held on 8/25/07 approx 08:00 – 14:00;  may include Fairfield County

b. DX Winter Challenge (see attachments).

§ Fritz WD8E announced the DX Winter Challenge and indicated there would be more developments as we get closer to the event.

c. Election of officers.

§ Officers elected for 7/1/07 – 06/30/08:
