NEW DISTRICT EMERGENCY COORDINATOR APPOINTED FOR DISTRICT 7

Congratulations to Steve Katz, N8WL of Granville, Ohio. Steve replaces former DEC John Tipka, W8UL who was promoted to the Section Traffic Manager position. Steve’s DEC appointment was effective as of July 1. Steve has responsibility for District 7, which includes the counties of Delaware, Fayette, Fairfield, Franklin, Hardin, Licking, Logan, Madison, Pickaway, and Union.

Some of Steve’s past leadership roles were EC of Licking County, Past President and Secretary of the Newark ARA, Local Government Liaison for Licking county. Steve is also an ARRL Life Member and a member of the ARRL  Diamond Club.
